Personal Chef Lori Cole with Savory Melodies
Chef Lori Cole has been cooking since junior high. She learned from her parents who are both great cooks. Chef Lori is a graduate of the Culinary Business Academy. As a Premier Member of the United States Personal Chef Association she is bound by the USPCA code of ethics.
Chef Lori brings a special flair to her cooking because of her love of music and art. “I love to feed people,” she says, “and music and drawing portraits are a huge part of my life. So my husband Steve suggested I call my business Savory Melodies. It’s important that my food tastes good, but I also appreciate the artistic process in making it very appealing.”
Chef Lori has taught cooking classes at Whole Foods Market, Cooks’ Wares, Inches-A-Weigh, Fairfield Pavilion, The Barrington of West Chester, Tri-Health Pavilion, Scripps Center, The Wood’s at Wilkens, and at the Macy’s Culinary Council at Kenwood.
Chef Lori is from Texas, and her husband grew up in New Orleans. So she’s got a love of TexMex and spicy food. But Savory Melodies provides whatever customers want– everything from childhood “comfort food” favorites and traditional holiday fare to gourmet, vegetarian, and totally organic meals. With two grade school children and a teenager, Chef Lori also knows how to please your younger family members.
Chef Lori and her friend & assistant Leslie (she does most of the baking) have served thousands of meals to hundreds of happy customers.
